The pigs are lining up at the trough! CEO of JC Penny is now lobbying for a federal bailout plan to boost consumer spending and come to the rescue of an ailing retail industry. This is the slippery slope of corporate welfare. You bail out one industry because some lobbyists paint it as “essential” for the survival of America, and then you have every industry lining up for similar handouts. When it comes down to it they can all paint a pretty picture of necessity, referring to employment, revenue, and other stats, but does lipstick on a pig make it anything but a pig?
Americans are facing some big problems caused from decades of living large. Specifically, America has long suffered from a disease called “borrow and spend.” The world has been subsidizing our unrealistic living standards for far too long. This present market disaster is reality’s way of catching up, of saying that we must stop borrowing, pay down some debt, and ultimately live within our means. Bottom line: The party is over!
With 70% of our Gross Domestic Product consisting of “consumer spending,” it’s clear that America’s sense of prosperity has been in the form of consumption. As a country we have a pitiful savings rate, often slipping into negative real territory, and a sustained current account deficit. This means that our lavish living standards have been partially paid for by foreigners with excess savings.
Of course retailers are going to want this fantasy to continue. Since they can no longer count on markets to enable consumers to borrow and spend, they are now begging Washington to force everyone to borrow and spend!
This is not Capitalism. This is not free enterprise. This is not the American way!
Oil companies have taken hold of Washington for far too long. They are getting richer by the day, despite working class individuals struggling to pay for their gas, and despite their own assertions that they are not trying to profit off of our misfortunes. But what if I were to tell you that there is hope - an alternative fuel source that allows you to improve gas mileage and save thousands on gas every year.
Hydrogen technology has existed for a while, but unfortunately it has been to costly and expensive to implement. However, HHO gas (made from water, or H2O) is a newer technology that manages to use simply tap water to create pure energy that you can use to help run the car you already have, even without any automobile knowledge or expertise.
1) How in the World Can A Car / Truck Run with Water?
In order for this feat to be possible, you must have a car battery produce electricity to electrolyze water so it can harness this powerful technology. Simply by following that, cars can extract gas, which is referred to as Brown’s Gas. This specific type of gas can create large enough amounts of energy to easily and safely power your car. The absolute final product of this process is oxygen and water, a much cleaner by-product than traditional car wastes!
2) Why Run Your Auto With Water?
With high gas prices as they are, any money you can save is beneficial. But with water power in your car, you can triple your gas mileage allowing you to save thousands of dollars every year, all for the cost of only a few pieces of equipment. In addition, with global warming on the horizon, reducing your own car’s carbon imprint is the first ste towards making the country and the world a better place for our children.
3) Where Do You Buy the Systems?
The manufacturing of these systems has been relatively underground, because if they start becoming too mainstream they are likely going to be squashed by big oil and corporate America. Instead, these systems are sold as how-to guides on the internet, teaching you how to build it yourself with detailed, step by step instructions designed to ensure that you do it right the first time with the few materials your need to make it correctly.
And these systems are incredibly versatile. Not only can you run your car on water, but you can run your trucks and your SUV’s as well. And the more people that use these systems, the more likely that big oil will have a problem muting it, because the systems will be too well known and used by too many people. This will force them to consider ways to improve gas mileage and provide relief at the gas tank, or risk going out of business.
As high gas prices continue to rise, the ability to use a water car system instead is incredibly beneficial. Not only are you saving the environment, but your are providing relief to your wallet as well. Converting your car into a water car hybrid is the first step towards making all of our lives better.
One of the articles I wrote was a business forecast for 2008. I predicted that there will be no huge political events that will have a big impact in the economy, unfortunanately I was wrong.
The Philippines is at it again! Calls for the President to step down have once again gained momentum on charges of alleged corruption as a result of the ZTE-NBN broadband deal.
The ZTE-NBN broadband deal controversy brought a new name to Philippine politics, the name “Jun Lozada” became so popular.
In fact most webmasters and bloggers, would probably start exploiting the key word “Jun Lozada” right now considering that it is a high-trend, low-dense keyword.
But this article is not about optimizing the “Jun Lozada” keyword. Rather this post seeks to present the two sides of the story and seeks to answer whether Jun Lozada is a Hero or a hypocrite.
Jun Lozada’s own words and actions tells his tale on why he testified against the administration. The following are his reasons:
1.) Jun Lozada could not take it anymore. He has become guilt-stricken by the anomalous act that he helped facilitate before he repented of his ways that is why he decided to testify. 2.) Jun Lozada was somewhat moved by patriotism and his deep love for his country.
The administration and other people on the other hand say that Jun Lozada is a hypocrite because of the following:
1.) Jun Lozada admitted that he helped commit the offense before he repented; 2.) Jun Lozada never had the intention to testify in the Senate. The fact that he went to Hongkong to evade Senate inquiry proves such. But because of the pressure that he has been receiving from the Senate, he decided to tell all. In short his testifying is not because he was guilt-stricken or because of his patriotism. He was only forced to do it because he was pressured to.
So which is which? Is Jun Lozada a hero or a hypocrite?
Scientist have a way of choosting as to which theory or hypothesis is correct when they are confronted with two strong opposing theories or hypothesis. We know this to be the principle of “Occam’s razor.” According to Wikipedia this principle simply states “the explanation of any phenomenon should make as few assumptions as possible, eliminating those that make no difference in the observable predictions of the explanatory hypothesis or theory.” To make it more simple, what is saying is that “All other things being equal, the simplest solution is the best.”
Using this simple principle, all things being equal, did Lozada testify because he was guilt stricken and moved with loved for his country or did he testify because of surmounting pressure? Take note, the simplest explanation is the best. Jun Lozada - Hero or hypocrite? Decide for yourself!
